Fast SCSI

Refers to high-speed synchronous transfer capability. Generally, this type of SCSI is capable of transferring data at rates up to 10MB per second on an 8-bit SCSI cable. Wider SCSI cables can transfer at a range of 20MB to 40MB per second.
