Fixed-frequency monitor

Fixed-frequency monitors are generally older monitors designed to only run at a specific signal from within a limited frequency range. Fixed-frequency monitors generally require a specific or specially designed video card.

Older Sun and SGI workstation computers often used fixed-frequency monitors.
