Gold may refer to any of the following:

1. Gold is a precious metal used in computing because it is a good electrical and thermal conductor.

Gold color with the HTML color code, RGB and HSL values, it is not a web safe color, and its complementary color.

2. A color commonly yellow that represents the color of the precious metal gold. With HTML (hypertext markup language) and HTML color codes, the gold color is #FFD700. For example, this text is a gold color. 3. Gold is an adjective describing software that finished development and is ready to be released to the public. For instance, a software development team may use the phrase going gold to describe a project's completion or public release in a software release life cycle.

4. Gold is a form of game currency used in computer games to purchase virtual goods and items. Often games with gold also have copper, silver, or other precious metals for different denominations of money. Copper is a smaller value (e.g., 10 copper = 1 silver or 100 copper = 1 gold) and silver is more than copper but still smaller than gold (e.g., every 10 silver = 1 gold).
