Granularity

  1. Term used to describe how clear an image is displayed. For example, with a bit-mapped image the smaller the dots the better granularity or clarity the image will be.
  2. If a search does not contain enough requirements or keywords it might be required that the search be more granular. Generally this can be accomplished either by adding additional keywords or by performing an advanced search.
