High Sierra

Standard developed for CD-ROM drives agreed to by manufacturers at the High Sierra Hotel & Casino in Lake Tahoe, CA. This standard incorporated other operating systems including DOS, Unix, Macintosh, and others. Today, the High Sierra standard is known as ISO 9660.
