ISO 9000

ISO 9000 is standards published in 1987 by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) that defines the quality assurance system for the manufacturing and service industries. Organizations that implement and conform to ISO 9000 are shown to yield products and services of uniformly higher quality, and achieve higher returns on their assets.
