L3 cache may refer to any of the following:

1. L3 cache is cache memory on the die of the CPU (central processing unit). The picture of the Intel Core i7-3960X processor die is an example of a processor chip containing six CPU cores and shared L3 cache. The L3 cache is shared between all CPU cores. It is slower, and has greater capacity, than the L1 or L2 cache.

Originally founded in 1997 as L-3 Communications Holdings, the company changed its name to L3 Technologies in 2016. The company merged with Harris Corporation in 2019, changing its name again to L3Harris Technologies.
