Leet

  1. Term used by a select few individuals who consider themselves elite. Today, individuals use this term to describe himself or herself as an elite hacker or haxor. Because this is generally not the case, individuals who consider themselves leet are commonly looked down upon by real computer experts. Users may also announce themselves as elite by typing 1337, which looks like L - E - E - T.

  2. Leet is also a small creature on the computer game Anarchy Online.
