Line caps

How an ending of a line appears when printed. There are various types of line caps, such as butt, rounded and square. Below are examples of the various types of line caps:

As seen by the above illustration, the butt line cap draws the line and ends it exactly where first ended. Rounded creates a half round edge on each side of the line. Finally, the square line cap is similar to the butt and adds the square ending to the line.
