Memory capacity

The memory capacity is the amount of data a device can store at any given time in its memory.
For example, computer software may list memory requirements similar to those shown below.
Recommend 32 MB of memory. Minimum 16 MB of memory.
Here, the developer of the program recommends, for optimal performance, that the computer have 32 MB of memory. The software can run with only 16 MB of memory, although its performance may suffer.
