Metasearch engine

A metasearch engine is an Internet tool that queries multiple search engines and then produces its own search results from the data collected. Essentially, when a user performs a metasearch, they are using a combination of many search engines at the same time, which can improve search results. Popular metasearch engines include MetaCrawler, Excite, and Dogpile.
