Microsoft BASIC

Alternatively called MS-Basic, Microsoft BASIC was one of Microsoft's first products that it introduced in 1975 by Paul Allen and Bill Gates. Microsoft BASIC was a high-level programming language, first made available for the Altair 8800 and allowed users to create programs.

When first available to use, Altair BASIC (the start to the Microsoft BASIC language) was delivered on paper tape and only required 4 KB of memory. Today, there is no version of Microsoft BASIC included with any Microsoft operating system and the only BASIC supported or released by Microsoft is Visual Basic and Small Basic.
