Microsoft Internet Explorer
Often abbreviated as IE or MSIE, Microsoft Internet Explorer was first introduced in August 1995 as Internet Explorer 1.0 and first included with versions of
Microsoft
Windows 95 and all versions of
Windows since then.
Microsoft Internet Explorer continues to be a strong competitor for other Internet browsers and today is still the most widely used browser on the Internet. In the image to the right, is an example of what Internet Explorer 7.0 looks like with the Computer Hope home page on it.
