Oracle OpenWorld is an annual event held in September that is hosted by Oracle and sponsored by third-party vendors and consulting partners. It provides a location for users to learn more about Oracle products, upcoming releases, and speak with Oracle representatives, and connect with other Oracle users.

At each event, several Oracle executives, sometimes including Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, attend as speakers, to address Oracle's future. Over 2,000 sessions are conducted to educate users on best practices, features of upcoming new products, and tips and tricks for getting more out of their products.
