Pentium Pro

The first processor to use the P6 microarchitecture, the Intel Pentium Pro was released by Intel in November 1995. It contained 5.5 million transistors, had available clock speeds of 150 MHz to 200 MHz, and was the first processor to be packaged with a second die containing L2 cache.
