Permalink
Short for permanent link, permalink is a link that enables a user to link to a post, article, web page, or other Internet content that is dynamically created. Permalinks are often automatically created on weblogs and online journals where users often post short comments or daily activities. The permalink allows visitors to link someone else directly to that page or entry.
An example of a permalink can be found on our computer dictionary word of the day, the permalink enables a user to get the link to the dictionary definition instead of the word of the day script.
