PPI

Short for pixels per inch, PPI or pixel density is the number of pixels per inch that makes a pixel image. The more pixels per inch an image contains, the higher the quality of that image. A PPI can represent a digital cameras resolution.
Note
PPI should not be confused with DPI (dots per inch).
