Radiation
Term
used to describe the emissions of energy released from a device that is
absorbed by the body. Some radiation can be harmful to an
individual, causing various physical problems. All electrical devices emit some
VLF radiation, for example, your computer monitor and TV emit a form of
radiation. Although some may argue that too much exposure from these devices
can be harmful or promote cancer it has been overwhelming proven that it's safe
to use these devices. In the image to the right, is the universal symbol for anything
containing harmful radiation.
