Refresh cycle

  1. When referring to computer memory, the refresh cycle refers to the contents of a memory's cell being recharged. The memory refresh cycle helps prevent leakage from occurring, which helps ensure that the bits within memory are not read incorrectly.
  2. Term used to describe the time in-between replacements made of computers or computer hardware.
