Rez
1. In a video game, when a player dies, they can be rezzed or release in order to be alive again and continue playing. When a player is rezzed, another player revives, or resurrects (hence the term rez) the dead player. When a player releases, the player is releasing the spirit from their dead body, allowing the player to re-unite their spirit with their body and come back to life. These actions commonly occur in a MMO game.
2. Sometimes improperly used as a short way of saying resolution.
