Sequence check

A sequence check or sequential consistency check is a verification performed to help ensure that actions, data, events, or records are properly ordered or happen in the correct order. For example, in a production environment, the sequence of components or materials is important during manufacturing. If the sequence is not offered in the correct order, the production stops until the necessary item is found. A sequence check helps verify the order of everything required before it enters manufacturing to help ensure everything happens smoothly.
