Shockwave
A 3D animation program and file from Adobe that allows users with the Shockwave player installed on their computer to view rich content on their computer and Internet browsers. Adobe Shockwave is similar to Adobe Flash but gives the programmer and developer a lot more freedom to create more advanced programs such as online games. Below is an example of a Shockwave file. If Shockwave is not installed properly on your computer you will not be able to see the below example.
