SIM card
Short
for either Subscriber Identity Module or Subscriber Identification
Module, a SIM card, is a small card that is used in
cellular phones (and sometimes other devices)
that contain subscriber information. One advantage of a SIM card is that it can be moved from phone to phone, making it
easier to change phones if needed. In the picture to the right, is an inactive
AT&T SIM card that can be punched out and
placed in a phone.
