Slotket
Short
for socket adapter, a slotket is an adapter board with a Socket 8
or Socket 370 that fits into the Intel Slot 1
motherboards. In the picture to the right, is an example of a Socket 370 slocket
and an example of what a slocket may have looked like.
Because all CPU manufacturers have moved to socket only processors, it is highly unlikely that you will encounter a Slotket. Users looking for a replacement to an older computer with a slotket may be able to get a replacement in an online auction site.
