SOP
- Short for Super Operator, SOP is the second highest privileged user in IRC (behind founder) that is capable of granting other users rights and controlling the chat channel.
- SOP is also an abbreviation for standard operating procedure, which is a collection of rules and instructions that if followed will result in a completed task. For example, when you call customer service the agent on the phone line is following the companies standard operating procedure to resolve your question.
