SYSOP

Short for SYStem OPerator, SYSOP is the individual in charge of a multi-user system. The term "sysop" was commonly used as an identification for the user responsible or in charge of a BBS. However, today, this term has been replaced by Admin, Moderator, Root, and/or System Administrator.
