Tank
When talking about a MMORPG a tank or meatshield refers to a player character who is capable of taking all or most of the damage for the group or party. Often
the tank is the only class who can wear the heaviest armor, which gives him the
most hit points. In the picture to the right, is an
example of a Warrior class in the MMO World of Warcraft game. As can be seen in
this picture, this character has large and heavy armor to help identify the
class.
