VoD
Short for Video-on-Demand, VoD is any video that can be played at the request of the user. Although any video downloaded from the Internet can be considered VoD this term is often used to describe videos, shows, or movies that can be requested by the user on their TV and immediately watched. Some good examples of popular video on demand services today are Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube.
