WALLOPS

WALLOPS is a command and message on IRC networks for IRC operator messages. An IRC operator can send WALLOPS messages, and users who are listening to these messages (who have mode w set), are able to read these messages. WALLOPS messages are generally for broadcasting network information and status to users who wish to keep posted of such information.
