Webmaster

An individual or group of individuals responsible for maintaining, updating or otherwise developing a web site. When errors are located on a web site, the WebMaster is commonly the individual to e-mail. Most web pages will have a webmaster@website.com or admin@website.com as the default e-mail for the Webmasters.

A webmaster can have several different names; for example, female webmasters sometimes refer to themselves as webmistress.
