Windows Media Encoder

Now known as the Expression Encoder, the Windows Media Encoder is a Microsoft utility to encode video, screen captures, etc., to Microsoft Silverlight. Below is an example of the Microsoft Expression Encoder.
Note
After the Windows 10 Anniversary Update released in August 2016, Windows Media Encoder version 9 (latest release version) is not compatible with Windows 10.
