xIRC is a graphical IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client for Unix and Unix-like operating systems, such as Linux. It is written in C++ using the QT (Quasar Technologies) library. It offers separate windows for each conversation, supports DCC (direct client-to-client) file transfers, and a color system similar to the popular IRC client mIRC.

It comes packaged with many popular Linux distributions, or it can be downloaded from the official xIRC project page.
