* Virus: No new virus news this week.
* Security:
Internetnews.com -- Researchers are warning of serious security holes in two popular digital media players -- RealNetworks' RealOne and Apple's QuickTime -- that have put millions of systems at risk.
theregister.co.uk -- IT security specialist Backfire Security today announced the availability of a software download as a discrete desk-top client application which wreaks revenge on those hackers and culprits attacking your network or infecting users with worms and/or viruses.
sendmail.org -- Sendmail, Inc., and the Sendmail Consortium announce the availability of sendmail 8.12.9. It contains a fix for a critical security problem discovered by Michal Zalewski whom we thank for bringing this problem to our attention. Sendmail urges all users to either upgrade to sendmail 8.12.9 or apply a patch for your sendmail version. Remember to check the PGP signatures of patches or releases obtained via FTP or HTTP (to check the correctness of the patches in this announcement please verify the PGP signature of it). For those not running the open source version, check with your vendor for a patch.

This week we came across "Web Gallery of Art", an excellent website with an extensive amount of art information and pictures. What we liked most about this site is that it contains over 11,000 digital reproductions of all types of famous art from the years 1150 and 1800. For individuals who enjoy art, this is a great site to not only view some of the greatest paintings, sculptures, drawings, and other type of art, but also find great information about the majority of the work. Those of you who may not enjoy art as much as others are still likely to enjoy viewing many of the paintings and may even find it fun to use some of these pictures as wallpapers for their desktops.
We would also like to thank Sean H., a Computer Hope newsletter subscriber for his great feedback and recommendations on our "Command Language" definition. With his help we have updated this dictionary definition to be much clearer and informative, an updated version of this definition can now be found at the below link.
