Housekeeping ( http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/h/housekee.htm ) -
When referring to computers, housekeeping is a term used to describe the optimization of a hard disk drive. Housekeeping commonly involves removing old or unused files, removing programs no longer being used, backing up data, and/or running disk utilities such as a scandisk, defrag, or a virus scan. Housekeeping is meant as a way to help keep the computer organized and running properly and should be performed at least once a year.

* Virus:
story.news.yahoo.com -- America Online launched a new virus protection service for its members on Wednesday, marking the latest paid service from the Internet division of AOL Time Warner Inc. as it tries to turn itself around.
* Security:
secunia.com -- A vulnerability identified in a library included in Windows XP and Internet Explorer version 4.0 and newer can be exploited to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on certain applications.
computerworld.com -- Microsoft Corp. released a guide on April 25 to help systems administrators run Windows Server 2003 securely and reannounced a similar guide for Windows 2000 yesterday.

This week we came across the "Volumetric 3-D Display", a very interesting device that resembles a very large glass ball. The device weighs 60 lbs, and is 24" diameter x 9" high base with a 20" diameter dome and enables a user to visually see three-dimensional objects in the object without the aid of goggles or glasses.
