A hardware or software that is accessible by the computer, network or other object connected to a computer. For example a printer connected to a network is an example of a basic network or shared resource. Another example of a resource may be a network server farm or cluster that allows user to have access to multiple computers to perform complicated tasks.

New Computer Virus SSoBig-C Spreads Around the World
voanews.com -- A nasty computer virus is spreading around the world, often masquerading as an e-mail sent from soft-ware tycoon Bill Gates.
* Security:
Variant of Bugbear Virus Spreading on PCs
reuters.com -- A variant of the "Bugbear" worm, which spread around the Internet last October, opening back doors on computers and logging keystrokes, has started to infect users around the world, putting them at risk of losing confidential information.
Windows Server 2003 gets first patch
news.com.com -- Less than two months after launching its Windows Server 2003 operating system, Microsoft has released a security patch to fix a vulnerability that could let malicious sites run damaging code on the server.

4. What's new at Computer Hope this week?

- Updated dictionary with dozens of updated definitions.
- We have updated and posted Computer Hope beta search engine version 1.5. Corrections and updates are listed below.
1. Updated how search engine handles searches that pull too many results because of how common the search string is on our website. For example searching for keyboard or operating system will pull results now instead of indicating too many results were found.
2. Updated artificial intelligent responses for when unique searches are not found.
3. Implemented some new advanced features to be used in our advanced search engine, which will be released within the next few weeks. Unfortunately these features will not be accessible until then.
