MAN ( http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/m/man.htm ) -
1. Short for Metropolitan-Area Network, MAN is a network that is utilized across multiple buildings. A MAN is much larger than the standard Local-Area Network (LAN) however not as large as a Wide Area Network (WAN) and commonly is used in school compasses and large companies with multiple buildings.
2. Short for Manual, man is a Unix / Linux command to display a manual for a command. Additional information about this command can be found on our Unix / Linux man page.

MyDoom author may be covering tracks
news.com.com -- A worm that started spreading on Sunday places the source code for the original MyDoom virus on victims' hard drives, an action equivalent to planting evidence, antivirus experts said Tuesday.
MyDoom Sneaks Doomjuice through the 'Back Door'
enterpriseitplanet.com -- Another week, another worm... This time around the crafty bug goes by the name of Doomjuice.A, and it appears to bear some relation to the destructive MyDoom worm that plagued networks several days ago.
* Security:
Virus-like game annoying AOL IM users
infoworld.com -- A new Web-based game that lets players pretend to catch Osama bin Laden is annoying America Online Inc.'s (AOL's) Instant Messenger users with its virus-like self promotion, according to reports from users.
Microsoft restores broken IE URL handling
infoworld.com -- A software patch issued by Microsoft Corp. Monday restores its Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser's ability to handle certain types of Web URLs (uniform resource locators) that were banned by an emergency browser security patch in early February
Microsoft issues patches for three new Windows vulnerabilities
computerworld.com -- Microsoft Corp. today issued fixes for one "critical" and two "important" flaws in several versions of its Windows software, including Windows Server 2003, under the company's monthly patch-update program.

This week we came across the FISH, a new universal semiconductor memory card standard with built-in USB 2.0 support. FISH is short for Flash Internal Semiconductor Harddrive and is an extremely small when compared to other flash products. What make this product extremely exciting are the potential capacity of 2GB by early 2004 and the anticipated capacity of 16GB in 2005.
