infoworld.com -- A highly critical and unpatched security hole in Microsoft Corp.'s ubiquitous Word software could be used to launch a denial of service attack and give system access.
Find the Web's Worst Security Flaws
pcworld.com -- IT security and research organization The SANS Institute is releasing its annual Top 20 list of Internet security vulnerabilities this week, with the intention of offering organizations at least a starting point for addressing critical issues.
E-mail scam plays on US elections
news.bbc.co.uk -- People are being warned about a scam e-mail which uses the US presidential poll to con them out of their money.
Apple Patches QuickTime Flaw
Internetnews.com -- A security hole in Apple's QuickTime media player could put users at risk of buffer overflow attacks, the computer maker warned in an advisory.

Over the last few weeks we have been playing with a software program called RipCast by Xoteck. This is a great software program that enables users to automatically record their favorite Internet radio stations and have all recorded songs saved to MP3 file format. Ripcast is available for free and also has a commercial version that has more options. We highly recommend people who enjoy listening to music on their computer give this program a try.
