Interactive program ( http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/i/inteprog.htm ) -
Computer software program that requires some type of user interaction to operate. This interaction could include inputting information, modifying information, managing information or otherwise manipulating data. Generally speaking most software programs are interactive. A good example of software that is not interactive is a computer screen saver, where no interaction is required by the user while running.

Latest Mydoom virus may signal dreaded 'zero day' attack
computerworld.com -- The latest version of the Mydoom virus suggests to security experts that a much-anticipated "zero day" attack may have already arrived.

antivirus subscription prices climb
infoworld.com -- Troublesome Trojan horses, virulent worms, nasty viruses--sometimes it may seem like the Internet exists just to let the bad guys attack your PC.

* Security:

Google Desktop Security Warning Issued
Internetnews.com -- Two analysts issued independent warnings today suggesting Google's Desktop Search tool -- released in October -- poses security risks for the enterprise.

Earlier Editions Of Firefox Flawed
story.news.yahoo.com -- Just days after the Mozilla Foundation released the final version of its standalone Firefox browser, a security firm Thursday said that earlier editions were buggy and should be replaced.

New IE Bugs Open Up XP SP2 To Attack
story.news.yahoo.com -- Two new vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 6.0 were unveiled by a security firm Wednesday that hackers could exploit to bypass security features even in Microsoft's most secure OS, Windows XP SP2.

Cisco IOS DHCP Packet Handling Denial of Service Vulnerability
secunia.com -- A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco IOS, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

Microsoft Patches ISA Server 2000 Flaw
thewhir.com -- Software giant Microsoft issued a patch for a flaw in Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000 and Proxy Server 2.0 on Tuesday. Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 and 2003, both of which include ISA Server, are also affected.
