http://www.tivo.com/
This week we thought we would mention Tivo a product that we have been using over the last year that we have been extremely impressed with. A Tivo is a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and is a hardware device that connects to your TV. What makes Tivo and other DVRs so unique is the ability to easily setup and record programs automatically, be able to quickly skip content you don't enjoy watching (such as commercials), get recommendations based off what programs you record, view pictures stored on your computer over your TV, and even listen to MP3 files stored on your computer over your TV.
http://birthday.yahoo.com/netrospective/
Yahoo celebrated its 10-year anniversary and during those ten years a lot has happened. To help bring back the good and bad memories of the last ten years of the Internet Yahoo released their Netrospective with over 100 moments of the web. The site contains some really memorable moments such as the dancing baby, web celebrities like Turk aka the "I kiss you!" guy, the birth of today's big Internet companies like eBay, yahoo, and Amazon, and much more. Anyone who enjoys the Internet may want to view this Macromedia Flash presentation.
http://www.google.com/
For those of you who enjoy Google and may have missed the Google weather news article be sure to try out Googles new weather feature. For example typing, "weather salt lake city Utah" will display the current weather as well as the next four days weather. In addition to typing the location you can type weather and the zip code to get the weather. This also works with SMS on your cell phone, sending a SMS to 46645(GOOGL) with your weather request will get you the weather on your cell phone.
