1. Weekly Computer Term.

EOF ( http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/e/eof.htm ) -
Short for End-Of-File, EOF is a code placed by a computer after a file's last byte of data. EOF marks are helpful in data transmission and storage. Files are stored in blocks, and the end marker helps the computer know it has allocated enough space to store the file.

The EOF is generally represented by pressing and holding CTRL and pressing Z in DOS and OS/2 or pressing and holding CTRL and pressing D in Unix.

- As some of our readers may have noticed our above news section was split into two sections, this was because last weeks newsletter was not distributed. We plan on doing this in the future any time we miss a week. In addition to being split up we only have a few days of news posted. Unfortunately we have been working on some updates that prevented us from posting any news articles therefore were unable to post news links on some days. This issue has been corrected and should not occur in the future.
- Added and updated several question and answer pages.
- Continued work on numerous scripts to help with productivity and users interaction with Computer Hope.
- Did some minor modifications to the look of Computer Hopes newsletter.
- Posted other numerous updates throughout site.
