2. What's new in the news last week?

* NATIONAL POST: Repetitive stress injury -- the condition
once so widespread it spawned a generation of batwing
keyboards, ergonomic footstools and steel-and-black-nylon
braces -- is going the way of the typewriter, experts say.

"The whole RSI thing has sort of evaporated in a cloud of
smoke," says Edward Shorter, history of medicine chairman
at the University of Toronto.

"The fact is that most of these people didn't have carpal
tunnel syndrome. They had hysteria.

* Register: MP3 ripping is gone for good from the Windows
XP beta, and will not return in the shipping product.
WinXP will include instructions on how to install third
party MP3 encoders, which will then allow Windows Media
Player to rip MP3, but quite clearly development is
proceeding according to a tried and tested blueprint, and
MP3's air supply now stands in some peril.

6. All Talk

http://www.anarchy-online.com/
This week we thought it would be fun to talk about the much
anticipated MMPORG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing
game) called Anarchy Online. The game takes place 30,000
years in the future on the planet Rubi-Ka currently being
leased by the company known as Omni-Tek. The player will
have the capability of playing on the side of Omni-Tek or
Clans the game revolves around the struggle between the two
sides. While playing the game the player will have the
ability of fighting numerous creatures, solving an unlimited
amount of quests, talking and interacting with thousands of
other players throughout the real-world and much more. While
not the first MMPORG, Anarchy Online looks to be a
promising competitor to other MMPORG's such as Ultima Online,
EverQuest or Ashron's Call
