1. When referring to computers in general or computer memory the physical address is the computer memory address of a physical hardware device.
2. When referring to a network address, physical address is sometimes used to describe the MAC address.

news.com.com -- There is no Easter Bunny, and that's not a real Paris Hilton video in your e-mail box. Nor is the FBI likely to be e-mailing you to ask you questions about visiting illegal Web sites.

Sober Virus Clones Spreading
techtree.com -- Kaspersky Labs, developer of secure content solutions, has warned that the company's virus analysts have detected three new variants of Email-Worm.Win32.Sober - Sober.u, Sober.v, and Sober.w


* Security:

Zero-Day Exploit Targets IE
news.yahoo.com -- Exploit code for a critical flaw in fully patched versions of Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer browser has been released on the Internet, putting millions of Web surfers at risk of computer hijack attacks.

Google patches more flaws in search app
techworld.com -- Google has patched several serious security flaws in Google Mini, a hardware search appliance used by medium-sized enterprises and departments within large companies.

Opera issues security patch
news.com.com -- Opera Software issued a security patch on Tuesday to protect users against flaws in Macromedia's Flash Player and in some versions of its open-source browser running on Linux or Unix.

Sony Numbers Add Up to Trouble
wired.com -- More than half a million networks, including military and government sites, were likely infected by copy-restriction software distributed by Sony on a handful of its CDs, according to a statistical analysis of domain servers conducted by a well-respected security researcher and confirmed by independent experts Tuesday.

Microsoft to Block Sony DRM Rootkit
Internetnews.com -- Microsoft has joined other security vendors in pursuit of the rootkit component to Sony's now-infamous anti-piracy measure.

VPN flaw threatens Internet traffic
news.com.com -- A flaw in a key Internet security protocol used by major networking products could open systems up to denial-of-service and other kinds of attacks, experts have warned.

Ever wonder what font someone was using in their image or logo? This is a great site that enables users to upload a picture file and/or point to a picture on the Internet and if simple enough be able to determine the type of font used in the picture. Although in our tests there were many fonts it was unable to determine this is still a great tool.

We get questions all the time about users who want a multiple display on their computer but can't because they're using a laptop or don't want to hassle with installing multiple video cards in their computer.
