Another Sober Worm Set to Strike
pcworld.com -- The next variant of the Sober worm is set to attack computers already infected by previous versions of the malware. The new attack will occur at the stroke of midnight GMT as January 5 turns into January 6, according to European antivirus software vendors. Computer Hope would like to wish everyone a happy new years!

http://www.pandora.com/
We recently came across PANDORA, a great free service that allows users to find music based off songs or artists you like. The service starts off by asking you for an artist or song you enjoy, it then matches similar songs from other artists that share many of the same qualities as the artist or song you entered. The songs are played over streaming audio and as you listen to the songs you can rate the songs with thumbs up or thumbs down to help refine the songs played.

http://www.rollyo.com/
ROLLYO is another interesting site we've recently come across that allows users to create their own search engines using the Yahoo! Search. To create your own search you enter up to 25 different URLs that you want to use as the pages to search. For example, if you were creating your own Computer Help search engine you would enter http://www.computerhope.com as well as your other favorite computer sites. Once created, each time you search it will only search the URLs you specified.

http://librivox.org/
Another fantastic site we've recently come across is LibiVox, a great site that allows any user to download and listen to dozens of free audiobooks read by numerous different contributors. This is a great project and definitely worth a visit.

http://www.yakalike.com/
Finally, we also recently came across 'yakalike', an interesting plug-in for Mozilla Firefox users that allows users to talk to other users browsing the same website. The service is a relatively new service, which means you'll be very lucky to find anyone browsing the same site at the same time you are. However, we thought this was a real interesting idea and look forward to seeing it expanded.
