FSB ( http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/f/fsb.htm ) -
Short for Front Side BUS, FSB is also known as the Memory BUS or System BUS and connects the CPU with the main memory and is used to connect to other components within the computer. The FSB can range from speeds of 66MHz, 133MHz, 100MHz, 266 MHz, 400MHz and beyond. The FSB is now another important consideration when looking at purchasing a computer Motherboard or new computer.

* ZDNET: Microsoft will hit Palm with a double whammy next week when it announces two new versions of its operating system for handheld computers, sources say.
The software giant will announce a low-end and high-end version of its upcoming Pocket PC 2002 OS on Sept. 6 at the Demomobile conference in La Jolla, Calif., sources familiar with company's plans say. The new versions of the OS, code-named Merlin, will resemble Microsoft's upcoming Windows XP desktop OS and add 802.11b wireless networking capabilities and security.

* Security:
-OSOpinion: Twice this month, Internet security consultant Jeremiah Grossman, 24, poked gaping security holes in Hotmail and Passport, Microsoft's free Web-based e-mail and identity-authentication services. It took just three lines of code for Grossman to breach Hotmail filters and access Passport ID and credit card data. The second time it took just one line. And the former Yahoo security auditor says he could do it again given 8 hours.

Announced September second, World of WarCraft is an upcoming Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game from Blizzard that stems from popular game WarCraft in the world of Azeroth.
