Short for On-Line Analytical Processing, OLAP was first introduced in 1994 in a paper written by E. F. Codd and is a type of software and tools used to analysis data stored within a database at a greater complexity.

* PCWorld: Microsoft has released a security alert acknowledging a serious security hole in its Outlook Express e-mail client. The vulnerability, found in Outlook Express versions 5.5 and 6.0, could allow a remote attacker to take control of PCs running Outlook Express using malicious code embedded in an e-mail message.

- ZDNet: A worm spread among MSN Messenger users by fooling them into downloading an infectious file from the Internet, antivirus firms said on Thursday.
* Security:
