Public domain software ( http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/p/publdoma.htm ) -
1. The term public domain in general refers to the free use of the work or object without any restrictions. This may be because of the lack of a copyright or because the work is no longer owned.
2. When referring to software, public domain refers to software that is able to be freely distributed and used, either because the company has released it to be public domain or because the company is no longer in business. Public domain software may or may not carry a copyright.

Top News Story: Brother Recalls Printers
* AP-Washington: A New Jersey company is recalling about 100,000 printers that can overheat, posing a fire hazard.
Brother International Corp., of Bridgewater, has received two reports of printers overheating and catching fire, one of which caused minor property damage, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday. No injuries were reported.
The recall includes laser printers with model numbers HL-1040, HL-1050, HL-1060 and multifunction printers with model number MFC-P2000.

This week while helping one of our users with their computer we came across an interesting product that allows users to easily connect their computer to an audio system through their USB port. This looks to be a great product for users who may want to have a quick easy way to connect their computer to their stereo to listen to their MP3 files for example.
