http://www.ivdr.org/iVDR/ivdr_e.html
This week we talk about a new technology known as iVDR. iVDR is short for Information Versatile Disk for Removable usage and is a new 2.5-inch removable ATA hard disk drive storage medium. The idea behind iVDR is to allow the consumer to utilize the storage disk in a wide range of devices, for example the users personal computer, home and car stereos, TV's, etc. iVDR looks to be a promising technology and we look forward to seeing it widely used and available in appliances when ready.
