  • One of Europe's most creative leaders and inventors in the field of electronic digital computers.
  • Assigned by KTAS to assist in building DASK (DAnsk BESK) project.
  • Developed a prototype of GIER and by the end of 1962 had produced 18 GIER computers.
  • One of his early developments was a high-speed paper-tape reader, the RC2000, which read at the unprecedented rate of 2000 characters per second.
