ABOUT QUAKE 2
With the great success of Quake, Quake 2 quickly became a much anticipated
sequel. Like its predecessor, Quake 2 is a first person shooting
game; however, with Quake 2, the player will be challenged with new
creatures, new levels and have at his or her disposal new types of
weapons and even more sophisticated player models and graphics.
Quake 2 includes some of the below new features:
-
ROTATING MODELS: This will allow things such as doors, platforms, and such to
rotate and revolve.
-
HEERARCHICAL MODELS: Allows you to blow parts of a character away, such as an arm.
-
TRANSLUCENCY: The ability to see a reflection or glowing qualities in glass, water,
force fields, and other reflective materials.
-
NEW WEAPONS: Assortment of new and more
original weapons.
