The Windows 7 Calculator now lets you choose from 4 options:

  1. Standard - Basic calculator functions.
  2. Scientific - Includes advanced calculations, including sine, cosine, and tangent.
  3. Programmer - Includes logical calculations useful in computer programming, such as boolean operations.
  4. Statistics - Includes calculations commonly used in statistical analysis.

Windows calculator includes specific functions for practical tasks, such as calculating a mortgage payment. These convenient functions include:

  1. Unit Conversion - Common unit conversions, such as converting an angle from degrees to radians, or a liquid measure from quarts to gallons, and vice versa.
  2. Date Calculation - Calculate the difference between two dates, or add/subtract days to/from a specified date.
  3. Worksheets - Calculations to help manage personal expenses, such as mortgage payments, vehicle lease payments, and fuel economy.
